    Wa Craft Beer Showcase

I was very dissappointed, no special batches brewed for the occasion (may not be the brewerys fault, lack of notice??), nothing out of the ordinary really. Typical West Aussie event I suppose. I don't want to be all negative so highlights were LC Big DIPA, Mash Rye ESB, Iron Bark's Bock and...

Anyone Have Solar Panels On Their Roof?

Try and make some changes to your house to make it thermally efficient first. When you replace appliances get efficient ones. There are a lot of things to do before going solar. On average your biggest energy uses would be heating/cooling and water heating.

The Battered Sav Brewery Shed Build

I was thinking the same... You should have a top batten/purlin for each plane on the roof (I understand you may have a different way of doing things though....) Great sized shed! Very jealous.

    Labourer's Homebrew

:icon_offtopic: What has this got to do with anything? I am a builder and I have mostly awesome tradesmen but I could list hundreds of stupid things that I see tradesmen do on a daily basis. Its very easy to look at someone else and point out what they are doing wrong... What trade are you?

Plasterer In Adelaide? Need So Work Done Asap

Yeah 200 dollars is pretty good. Sounds like it is a Lathe and plaster job which is common for the time, lots of battens nailed close together with a white set applied. If it was the early types of prefab plaster boards there would be decorative battens forming squares on the ceiling, as the...

Plasterer In Adelaide? Need So Work Done Asap

If the house is early 1900's I seriously doubt its plasterboard unless its had a renovation. Whats the ceiling look like? Are there timber battens forming squares on, the underside of the ceiling? Or have the ceilings been replaced with plasterglass with lagging over the ceiling joists? If so...
