Hah! After watching the 'Fix' documentary I knew that Gibby & Al were good mates but I had never heard that story before. Makes perfect sense though. Cheers for sharing. I also thinks it warrants another dimension to this brew; smaller batch, higher ABV%.

Al doesn't look too bad for someone who's had (has?) hepatitis A, B & C. Might go with Tettnang for the hop - I've heard it goes alright with a Cerveza kit.

You could try and brew "Steam" beer which is a lager recipe fermented at ale temperatures (18° C is optimal I've read).
