    Not bad mate, keep the suggestions coming. edit** 1.7kg Morgans Blue Mountain lager 1 kg liquid wheat extract 500 g brown sugar 200 g Carared 50 g Roasted Barley 33 g Tettnang (10 m boil) 33 g Tettnang (dry hop) According to IanH's sheet this is bang on for an English Best Bitter.

    Hah! After watching the 'Fix' documentary I knew that Gibby & Al were good mates but I had never heard that story before. Makes perfect sense though. Cheers for sharing. I also thinks it warrants another dimension to this brew; smaller batch, higher ABV%.

    Al doesn't look too bad for someone who's had (has?) hepatitis A, B & C. Might go with Tettnang for the hop - I've heard it goes alright with a Cerveza kit.

    I had heard a lot about Pacific Ale but never found it at my local bottlo. And then I went to a wedding on the weekend and they had it on tap. Very delicious and surprisingly clear.     You could try and brew "Steam" beer which is a lager recipe fermented at ale temperatures (18° C is optimal I've read).
