    brewed today, if everything goes OK it will be the case swap beer. Best described as an AIPA, a 1.069 beer bittered to 55 IBU's with 40g of cascade flowers and 30g of galaxy flowers at the 10 min mark. Smells and tastes awesome going to ferment it with wyeast 1272 American ale 2. We need more...

    just catching up on this thread, I have about 3m of 12mm bright steel rod in the garage (I'm pretty sure its 12mm I'll have to check to be 100%). Anyone in sydney needing a 12mm shaft I probably could get it to you. I think the cost of postage would make it not cost effective to post.

    hey Edak the 85 deg reading is standard after a reset as it is the default that is written to the scratchpad at startup cheers steve

    Regulator gauge indicates a CO2 leak somewhere

    I found exactly the same thing as Dan, if I have a leak in the LP side of the regulator then if I turn off the bottle the HP side drops quickly but the LP side stays unchanged for a long time.

    wotfm first mentioned it here http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/59563-i-want-mathos-controler/?p=975491 and the discussion follows the next couple of pages putting a RC suppression circuit across the load or the contacts seems to work but I'm not 100% sure.
