    I want to get elected!

Rupert Murdoch is laughing at all austrailians, your never going to get positive press if you want to tax the rich and give it to the poor, you will just be labeled "EXTREME" or "INCOMPETENT".

that 3rd photo is that the temp probe directly wired to the terminal? If it is then you might have reversed the polarity on the MB-SM17116, I found the data sheet and it says the brown or red is GND, green or blue is data and yellow or gray is VCC. everything else looks fine. If you have the...

Marthos Brauduino - Another odd problem

you are correct in saying that if you put a delay command in the loop then it will slow down the whole program that is why there is no delay put into the loop in the code, only for sensing button presses longer than 1 sec do I use a delay and then the delay is only when the button is actually...

Hey notung, you are right about the temperature, just over 4000 degs means that the ds18b20 is not connected. Turning it off should not damage the sheild or the arduino, I would check to see if the arduino is plugged into the sheild correctly and all the pins are in their right place and I...

Marthos Brauduino - Another odd problem

the mash in timing is there to allow for the temperature to equalise before calling for the malt, if you stop the heating when the temperature is reach you could get overshoot or undershoot, if you leave the pid going for a few minutes then it will be right on. cheers steve

    Braumeister NEXTGEN Build

Ah I have just seen it you haven't put in the jumper for the relay, there is 2 positions a 5v one on top and a 12v one on the bottom, the relay would be a 12v so put a jumper in and it should work cheers steve

hey roguenorman if your still getting the arduino glitching when the pump is being switched try putting a 16v 2200uF electrolytic cap across the 12v supply in terminals. cheers steve

Marthos Brauduino - Another odd problem

that is correct matt, it looks like the silkscreen formatting has got stuffed up and the terminal is not marked correctly. with the terminals facing you it should be + on the left data in the middle and ground on the right. I have a wiring diagram in the PDF's I made up that shows that. cheers...

    Matho's controller

You only need to change that if you are running the sensor in parisite power mode. If your running the DS18B20 in powered mode (three wires)then the code is good. The code isn't designed to run in parisite mode anyway as it polls the sensor to see if the conversion is complete, you can't do that...

    14. JonW Belgian Blonde Ale. 7% WY3787. Kegged 11/5, CPBFing this morning. RTD. a very nice beer, exactly what I would expect from a belgian blonde except that it was slightly under carbed for a belgian blonde. I really enjoyed this beer and I thank you Jon for...

    S-04 not performing as expected

Jaypes, 1.025, Are you correcting your refact reading or is it just what you read, alcohol will distort a refract reading making the reading higher than it is. if you aren't correcting your reading and your OG was 1.043 then your beer is currently sitting at a FG of 1.013, considering that...
