    Element Question

    Yeah I agree it needs a 15 amp plug but you also need a thermostat to keep it at temperature and a safety thermostat to cut it out should the first one fail. They fit a coloured ring by the terminals if it includes a thermal fuse this one doesn't and could be dangerous if not correctly...

    Sounds like a good result and although not ideal for the fridge I'm sure with 2 week runs it will live to fight another day, FP fit good quality compressors so should keep you out of trouble for a while.

    Just a quick question that's been bothering me. when I cooked the mixture and added the hops at the end, I then strained the mix in to get all the large bits out. Is this correct or should I have added all and let it settle? your opinion please?
