    brewed this recipe today an all went very sooth and ended up with an o.G of 1055 smack on with the estimate. Worte tasted good and can't wait to tste once fermented and carbed up. Thanks for the help ... Woody

    Problems With Gassing My Keg

    Just more time. You can force carbonate and there are plenty of posts on how to do this on here . I have done this a few times but another 24 hours and you will see some improvement. Woody

    I know I suggested the spit motor and it may be too slow but I would have thougtht the size of the prop could be adjusted by size of prop, You also eliminate the heat issues as these motors a re designed to cope with heat. I would have thought anything that had a high RPM will have heat issues...

    Boagsy, It was hard to read the Hydro as I couldn't get the froth away and I took a fairly conservative view. Maybe it was a bit higher than that. Thanks for the link to liquorcraft. As for the Hops what would you suggest?
