Thanks for the responses guys... The cooling water is 3deg and when it returns it's sitting at 7deg. I'd have to strip the return line out of the python which would mean pretty much building a new python, but I think that would warm the return line even more wouldn't it? I think I'll look at...

Just wanted to bounce some ideas off the AHB's... Over the Christmas break I finally set up my keg system in my bar however there's still a lot of work to be done till I'm happy. Currently my set-up consists of a glass ice-cream freezer, will easily fit 10 corn kegs in, so she's a big one...

I'm building a custom font for my new bar and wondering if there is any difference between the chromed brass and the stainless steel taps? Differences in taste, longevity, etc? I know there's a $$$ difference so far! :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys... I'm leaning towards the DIY freezer using cold room panels.... I think that way I can make a custom chilling unit which is cost effective and I can customise the size to suit the bar!

I don't really want to naturally carbonate the kegs.... I've got a stack of those brewcraft carbonation drops, should i throw in 5 or so to get the ball rolling? Would that be enough to purge out the oxygen?

yeah true.... what about after a week, can I keg it without carbonating it and let it stand for 5 - 10days?

If I can transfer them to the kegs and cool them down without gassing please please please let me know! I'd be really keen to do this as it would free up my fermenters for the all important next brew. :)

Well both fermenters are in seperate fridges... one below 10deg and the other one in my freezer with temp controlled to 2deg... so everything will be ok? Doesn't the yeast die off or something causing bad tastes, etc?
