Concurr on the Coopers bottles, I now keg (still have a few bottles) but bottled with Coopers bottles for about 2-3years and never had an explosion. One day even dropped one and all that happened was the cap flew off and the bottle spun around with beer flying out

    Electrical Assistance Required For Bcs460

Dinner's always good when you're not the one preparing it :-) A few things.... E-Stop will require a higher current rating if it is placed where I said earlier (generally they're placed in a low voltage/low current control circuit - usually rated for 10A I think), this could be why they have...

    Electrical Assistance Required For Bcs460

Sorry, didnt see the couple replies added while I posted... Steve and Matho both correct B) As far as I can see the contactors don't perform much of a role. They are a part of the system that provides the electrical interlock between the HLT and kettle (so both cant come on at the same time)...

Hi all, New to AHB and HBing. I have tried to find the info but getting very cross eyed and a wee confused. I have a reusable yeast - brew cellar european lager yeast. I have at least a few days before I need to bottle it. I believe to re use it you fill your bottles then take what's left and...

Frequently Asked Questions For The New Brewer

I may be late on the post but might be able to help peers such as myself (first time brewers). I bought a kit today and had enough trouble checking the kit off with what's supposed to be in there and what's what, better yet when the bottle filler didn't seem to fit anywhere (and I didn't know...
