Sorry nothing to do with the lose of flavour, but I notice there is no Ekuanot hops in your Crankshaft.
I have made this beer many times and have found the flavour profile to be spot on.
Have you tried your recipe side by side?
Very limited info on that page, where are they located?
And how to use? It shows quantities but not application process.
If this is the same as PBW I have some of this.
Cheers
Tim
What does everyone clean their fermentation chambers with? I use lo suds cleaner and then spray with Starsan type sanitizer.
I do see at times dirty lines in the corners and find it difficult to fully remove soils or mould whatever it is. I have thought about using a silicone sealant around...
Just thinking outside the box and saw this post on another topic, could you use this instead with the wort?

It does say it can be used with other roots or juices.
A recent beer I have just made used this hop profile
Hops (86.3 g)
5.8 g (2 IBU) — Saaz 3.75% — Boil — 40 min
34.5 g (10 IBU) — Saaz 3.75% — Boil — 20 min
46 g (11 IBU) — Styrian Goldings 5.4% — Boil — 10 min
The Stryrian Goldings made it smooth and let the sweet malts shine...

Hi Josh, in what way are you wanting improve? We really need to know more of your process to help, do you temperature control? This is a big step to better beer. Are you wanting to go All Grain brewing or partials. Partials will help the cans.
Provide a bit more info and we will do our best...
So a little update, one of the brews that had the chemical taste but on a lesser scale has lost this flavour.
It is still very cloudy, looks like light coloured mud.
This one is drinkable now but only a couple at a time.
Still unsure as to what the issue is.
Tim
Sorry for the late reply, I took a sample to my lhbs, he believes the taste is oxidization.
Not 100% sure but revising my methods.
If I get a chance I shall bring a sample to you Ross.
Thanks for the help gents
Tim
Hi everyone, I new to the forum.
I have two brews in kegs (one tastes worse than the other) with notable chemical flavour.
I had this in another brew and thought that it was just the flavour of that hop that I did not like.
Now to have it again I'm scratching my head as to what it could be...
