Don't discount all local stores. When you factor in freight costs from the KEG-stores you might find that buying local is actually cheaper. I know that in Redcliffe it is ;-)
LHBS owner here.
I can't speak for others but we are aware of on-line prices from the likes of Keg King/Land and price our stuff slightly less than their freight inclusive prices to hopefully make a sale.
Having said that, a lot of places, mainly on Ebay, are selling stuff well over...

I'm getting back into "proper" brewing and was hoping to come along to this one but I have a 5am start for a huge Piping gig the next day.
I can't trust myself to just have a couple and go home early :-)
