    thanks guys for the advice, will give it ago. yeah i am lucky they were plastic bottles, have heard some horror storys of people having glass bottles explode on them resulting in major laserations and even a severed artery!! CRAZY stuff!! thanks again!

    wow i must have a blessed tap/fermenter... never had a prob getting it to point straight down and seal tight.... it's just a coopers fermenter and tap too. though now that i have posted this u can bet i will strip the thread when i next remove and replace the tap!!

    well thats just it and thats my delema. the price of the aus system is 1500 odd and the uk sys including shipping and currency convert it is around $350 for what i can tell the exact same system ( just diff taps) so there is a huge diff in price! i am waiting for an email from the company that...
