"The Great Escape" pretty much goes with any type of beer, but at three hours long...probably aim for the lower alcohol ones.

Hows this for weird...i actually enjoyed digging up some old, dirty bottles out of my garage, carting them upstairs, putting a measure of bleach solution in them and leaving them to soak overnight on the balcony so that they will be ready to bottle my next brew tomorrow . I mean there's no beer...

Swinging Beef - How exactly did you add the dark chocolate ? Did you boil it u pin the wort with the malt ? Was also thinking on Wyeast Irish Ale with 2 x Coopers stout - so maybe this plus the dark chocolate could work with some fuggles for aroma / flavour ?

Good on ya mate...last time I did something like this to economise was a big-arse batch of homemade candi sugar...about 3 kilos worth for 3 dollars ingredients. happy...very happy.
