    herm-it element enclosure - how do I make one?

    What about replacing the lid of the enclosure with a thin piece of stainless? That way you won't run out of thread on the element. Karl from the electric brewery does something similar.

    Add www to the domain. Simply Hops (Kathryn) you might want to look at your DNS records (or have your IT expert do so) to ensure the root domain works. At the moment if you don't add the www it leads to a blank 'coming soon' page!

    When you say relay do you mean a contactor? In these cases the contactor relay is a safety measure used for a few reasons. 1 is typically used to isolate the entire control panel ie ON/OFF, you can't use a typical switch for this normally because they can't handle the amount of electricity...
