Keg King ROBOBREW 35L SINGLE VESSEL BREWERY

Nope it is a Robo. The fermenter idea might be a bit ambitious. Upon a closer look seems like there is that much space for a yeast cake compared to were the tap outlet is. Perhaps it is just to clamp the lid down and help keep the heat in while mashing.

Keg King ROBOBREW 35L SINGLE VESSEL BREWERY

Hi guys, after reading the feedback from users on here i decided to go ahead and get a Robobrew. Picked one up today from the LHBS and was surprised to find that it seems they have updated the robobrew! Mine has litre/gallon markings imprinted to the body of the vessel, which is completely...

    Briess Dark Malt

I did some further looking online and yeah it seems that link is for a small bottle of concentrate used for colouring. I definitely don't have that. It is a 1KG bag of powdered malt extract! Maybe my LHBS mislabeled the description by writing 'from 100% black malt' and it could indeed be the...

    Briess Dark Malt

The packaging says it is made from 100% Briess Black Malt. Which i assume must be this one: http://www.brewingwithbriess.com/Assets/PDFs/Briess_PISB_MaltofermA6001DME.pdf

    Briess Dark Malt

I couldn't find an edit feature to edit my original post. I have Dark Dry Malt Extract not the grains! Maybe i have been confused that 1kg of grain will be to bitter, but 1kg of dry dark malt extract is ok?

    Briess Dark Malt

I have a 1kg bag of Briess Dark Malt (From 100% Black Malt) and was intending on using it all with a Coopers Dark Ale brew can and Styrian Golding Hops (40g). I just noticed some comments online that it may be to bitter if i used the whole kilogram. Anyone had any experiences? Am i better off...

Adding Dextrose After Primary Has Commenced

I understand. I think this is the 3rd day now since i added the extra malt. So if by day 5 or 6 its still stable at the higher gravity then it was a failure? And then it would be ok to add dextrose to bring it down a little?

Adding Dextrose After Primary Has Commenced

How long do you think it will take to see a change in the gravity? Its constant at 12 since i did it without a sign of change so far. Would be ok to add some dextrose to get the desired outcome of bumping the ABV up to around 4-4.5%? Or will i have to ride this out for several more days to see...

Adding Dextrose After Primary Has Commenced

Oh thanks! I did get a new lot of foam on the surface the day after i added the new malt. But like i said the gravity seems to be 2 points higher. I will try stirring as you say and hope that works!

Adding Dextrose After Primary Has Commenced

Hi guys! I am new to home brewing and loving it so far! I have my second batch fermenting now which is a Mangrove Jack's Belgian Ale. I was unaware that it was a low alcohol brew until after i began fermenting. And the SG was 1035 and seemed to level out at 1010. So i found this thread and...
