I would add more peat smoked up to 200g I have made a lot of smoked porters before peat somked can be domineering but I think 110g is not quit enough it mite not come through that well.

Has anyone found literature on how to use stir plates

I have used the mesh type before and if you gravity fed through them they tend to block and get stuck but if you use a pump to move the wort there not to bad.

You can get the pickling paste from BOC and it's called (weld guard) it works really well great for cleaning anything SSteel
