i brewed a belgian imperial stout the outher day but had a lot of problems with stuck mashes and getting the beer out required alot of stiring.
well in result ended up with a lot of mud. just wondering if its possible to filter the beer.

but if your a bit impatient maybe wack a box of them on your fridge or hot water system for a few days to speed things along.
i did it and it worked a treat. but just remember them and to take down and test within a week. dont want them over carbonated.
this is why i was wondering if us 05 was less flocculant. i currently use WL california ale yeast for my ales and find that any of the yeast in suspension would be far too chunky to have for a blond/ american wheat- i wouldnt really get that fine cloudy back drop.
