    Beechworth Brewery - Chestnut Lager

They've got a Chestnut Pilsener at the brewery at the moment, fairly different to the lager, deffinetly worth a try.

    Carbonation In Bottles

2 weeks for carbonation, thats when I'll test one. But i'll never expect the first one to taste that great. The only brew I've done thats ready for a bit of a binge after this time is DSGA, most of my pale ales need a month or 2 to taste decent enough to enjoy myself :icon_drunk:

    Bottling Temps.

Hi guys, Just wondering what the coldest temp I can bottle my brew at, I thought I read somewhere that the brew should be around 20deg for bottling, but I dont bulk prime, I use sugar drops and put one sugar drop into each 345ml bottle. I started to think the reason why you should...

Adding Home Grown Hops To My Brew

    Bottles Bottles Bottles

The majority of my bottles have the raised lettering, probably because they where bought last year, but I had a check in the bottle cupboard and noticed that nearly all the Fat Yaks have no lettering at all, I've also noticed that some of the Fat Yak bottles are, a slight bit out of shape...

    Fermenter Without Airlock

Yeah i'm keen to give this a go with my primary fermentation, I always use glad wrap for secondary but never for primary. Hate it once the lid of my fermenter fogs up and you cant see whats going on.

    Bottles Bottles Bottles

Alls I use is 345ml bottles (from the Matilda Bay range), For some reason I like what carbonation I get with these, due to me using suger drops for priming. Last year me and the misses went through a massive Matilda Bay peroid, it was a coulple of months before I started brewing and knew I'd...

Nappisan Oxy - Ok To Use?

Yeah I use a lemon scented one from Coles, under $4. I cant even smell the lemon after 2 rinses in hot tap water. Only thing I've noticed thats different from this one and 'proper' napi san is it takes a little longer to get the hop stain out of my dry hopping bag. But if left to do its job it...
