Hey I've got a couple unopened bags of hops that have been sitting in my fridge for about 18 months. I understand the alpha acid content will be substantially less, but will they still be good to use for late additions? I'm not sure if hops can go off. David.

Correct, it's a Tiny Terror. Great little amp that nails the classic rock sort of sound. It's versatility ends there unfortunately, but I love what it does. Can also be picked up very cheap these days as well. Dave.

Last time I checked them at my local Dan Murphy's, they were $45 I think, but I'm sure I could find plenty of places that would sell them for similar prices to what you paid. It's one of the main reasons I got into home brewing in the first place. That and the excitement of making it yourself.

I've found the muntons yeast to be very good in bitters, milds, porters and stouts. As long as the temp is kept in check, it'll only impart a very subtle (nice in my opinion) flavour to the beer. Though I've noticed it doesn't handle cold temps too well and can go to sleep pretty easy when below...

Thanks Razz, I think that will probably be my plan of attack. Not sure what to expect of it, but part of the fun I guess. I am going to try to get from work to the brewshop before they close, just have to wait and see.
