So the 12g canister fits nice, a filed down Allen key can sort the triangular screws... Next logical question... How much do we prime the PET bottle? As usual for longnecks or less?? Anyone over/under carbed yet?

Phil, CO2 is more dense than oxygen, meaning it is heavier and will always give you a nice little barrier between your wort and oxygen. Provided you don't disturb it, it will sit happily for weeks. Cheers

+2 CO2 will easily escape past the o-ring holding your cling wrap. Definitely remove cling wrap as a potential source of sulphur...

I have an original "Olinda" fermenter from 1968! Still going strong! Thats the bad thing about some plastics, they just never dissappear...
