had a zen for about a month but sold because i didn't like it that much. i've now got a 40gig ipod and i couldn't be happier...so easy and sounds so good.

yeah caffeine and alcohol just don't mix...******* horrible feeling and hangover. ive had much worse hangovers from the caffeine and alcohol than most MDMA comedowns.

:D i think i remember how it got in there now. I was pouring the coopers tin into the fermenter and i sliced my finger open on the sharp edge. i must have dropped the spoon in then. those tins are deadly :( a fair bit of my blood got into the brew aswell because my finger was pissing with...

ok guys i'm not sure how but when i finished bottling today i noticed that i must have somehow left a metal spoon in the fermenter when i started the brew. just wondering if this will effect the beer at all? pretty sure it won't be a problem but thought i'd better make sure. cheers

and does anyone know why i dont have a scum ring on my fermenter with the pale ale? does the malt take longer to break down than sugar?

ok i tested it and it was 09! tasted it and it still tastes a little off (is this right for this stage of fermentation?). should i bottle yet or wait a few days for the readings to be the same? also tasted my lager that has been in bottles for 6 days and it's still a bit gross...a bit cidery...

hrmm yes i think you're right. i measured it again and it's on 12. what's with these crazy readings? could i have picked up some sediment when filling the testing tube?

ok guys im kinda worried now. i measured it at one point and it was 10 then i measured it again today and its at 20...i think the bubbles might have been holding up the hydrometer and that was causing an incorrect reading? so that means it hasnt dont any fermenting in quite a few days i think...

had a LC pale ale tonight for the first time and i must say that i'm very impressed. best smelling beer ever. just makes my mouth water. i'm pretty sure i could taste some grapefruit but i'm not really a beer expert; it just tasted awesome ;)
