TV show looking for extract brewers

Well as father of a young boy with limited free time and limited funds I'm happy to be a kit brewer or even kit and kilo slash extract brewer. I love brewing my own beer and happily concede these are not my recipes but I MADE the damn beer. Last I checked temperature control, yeast, water...

    Esb Wort Kits?

I havent tried the 17L all grain fresh wort kits, only the 4L (I presume extract based) liquid wort kits. Loved the 4L versions and will be trying the 17L galaxy once Ive finished fitting out my newly built brew shed with some chest freezers and thermostats. :) BIAB comes next Tried their Galaxy...

This topic is talking about their new "Finest round" 4L fresh wort kits - different beast to the old 3L tins.

    Esb Wort Kits?

I put down a Finest Round Amarillo Ale just before my boy was born a few months back, he was delivered and had no time to bottle it, so it got tipped after 7 weeks in the jerry can. I put down another a little while back, OG and FG were spot on as per the instructions, and 10 days later bottled...

    RecipeDB - Ginger Ninja Beer

Made this up today and by god, the smell of the hot wort hitting the 2L of apple juice in the fermenter had my wife drooling! Can not WAIT for this to be fermented down and carbed up!

    Omg Amarillo Omg

OMG. Amazing at only 3 weeks of age. Best beer I've made of the dozen or so since Xmas. Biggest difference was the hops, I think adding them dry after day 3 made a massive difference to their strength. Coopers Sparkling kit 1Kg Xlight Liquid Malt ext 500gms Light Dried Malt ext 200gm Caramalt...

    Choc Topping Replacing Sugar

If you replace the IPA with a stout kit the EBC goes off the charts. I'm also not a fan of dry stouts which most kits are. I've read quite a few recipes involving choc topping and done a bit of research on it. I'll leave the topping out this time around and report back on how it goes. Using dark...

    Best Time To Dry Hop/differences?

Hi all, Making K&Ks, onto my 5th batch. Loving the help on the forums here. Giving me an edge over my mates... Dry hopping: I've seen a few recipes that call for adding your aroma hops AFTER the primary fermentation has slowed down, say the 3-4 day mark? I've only got the one fermenter (not...

    Help With Lcpa Style Recipe

Just a follow up, after 2 weeks in the bottle, lovely drop, needs a bit more time, but much more similar to Stone and Woods Pacific Ale than LCPA which is more full bodied and bitter. This has the passionfruit like the stone and wood brew, so if you like that, there's your K&K recipe! OG was...
