So here the active, rehydrated yeast has been added to the starter solution. Don't try and rinse the last few drops of rehydration solution into the starter, that would be a prime source of infection. The starter could be warmed up to 35 degC at this point, or you can just wait a little longer. You might be wanting to have your production wort (i.e. the brew) getting close to being ready at this point, because it won't live healthily for all that long in a starter solution, although some mini- worts can keep a yeast starter healthy and multiplying for days, all it needs is enough food and some warmth. For challenging and higher gravity brews, leaving the starter to multiply and grow is probably desirable.
