This is a bit later, so after pitching the yeast into the water to rehydrate, it is left for about 15 minutes and then gently swirled to ensure all of it has been wet. Sometimes, with the narrow Schott bottle neck, it can form an island floating on the surface, we don't want this to happen. Not much to report though, just keep an eye out for foam or bubbles appearing on the surface. The now- empty yeast packet is solely for effect, you can discard yours now if you like.
