This is a picture of the bottle, lid and solution quasi- sterilisation process underway. Pretty boring to actually sit and watch, go find something else to do, but check on it from time to time and make sure the bottles stay upright and that sufficient water remains in the steamer.Note, the tinfoil or lid needs to be on top of the steamer vessel and fairly well sealed to maximise the bug- killing action of the steam. The longer you can leave the steaming process, the more reliable the sanitation will be. I have found an hour to be quite appropriate for home brewing applications.
