Gives the ability to use a single reg on multiple drafto setups or just spritz it with C02 from you home bottle before you take it 'on the road'.
May work better from the liquid out, as the C02 will pump from the bottom, helping to purge any air that is in there. It would also mean you could counter fill it...hmmmm.
