I was there two years ago for my birthday, it's an awesome festival and I recommend it to anyone going to Belgium in late May.

edit: Theres even familiar faces in those pictures! Diabel and DerDoppelBock from ratebeer as well as the guy who runs the foreign beer stand at Ealing beer festival (can't remember his name).

I just got back from that festival and a little time in Belgium, had an awsome time... both Diabel and Derdoppelbock were there again, Diabel seemed to be running the show. Highlight was the Struseelixis (or whatever its called) which Carlo, the brewer from Strusse was kind enough to donate to our table in the form of a 3L bottle. The Cantillon Blber lambic was a close second, then followed the incredble kriekenlambic from timmermans. Great times!

Only 3 days until I'll be back in Belgium again :beerbang:

Carlo is a really friendly guy. At the last low countries gathering he bought along a few cases of earthmonk and pannepot and told everyone to just help themselves to a bottle of each to take home!
