when you get those large 500gm bricks they are in 1 x vacuum packed package and feel like a ........brick :) when you open them, it goes all loose. i have a vacuum machine, so i re-pack them in 100gm bricks.

have you checked the pin in the adaptor? this is the result of the thumb screw (steel?) hitting the brass pin after less than 10 uses. the pin can be removed with a pair of pliers. the chewed up tip of the pin caused me random failures. i also lubed up the o-rings on the replacement.

and if the cheap and nasty screw tops on the star san crack & leak a bit, the undiluted fluid will remove the paint on top of your fridge. don't ask me how i know. i keep the bottle in an old ice cream tub now.
