    Bottling with pressure ferment?

If I'm bottling from the pressure fermenter I just off gas it over a few days or a week until there's no pressure, then bottle as normal.

    Help- Stuck Rice Lager

Could be an under pitch too. I packet of yeast for 23L of lager seems short.

    Need to repitch?

I guess I could do that. I'm always loathe to do that sort of thing, but might be worthwhile. I'm planning to leave it for the full two weeks so I'm hoping it'll be fine. Thanks for your reply.

    Need to repitch?

Thanks for that. I tend to only do small batch of the high gravity stuff so that's come in handy.

    Need to repitch?

I put down a Russian Imperial Stout with an OG of 1.084 on Monday. Added nutrient in the boil and oxygenated it the way I normally would. Then pitched a half pack each of Windsor and Nottingham in 4.5L of wort. It took off very quickly but there hasn't been any airlock activity since Tuesday...

    Sodastream for oxidation protection

Hey Kadmium, Thanks so much for going to so much trouble and providing so much info. No offence taken all, I am fairly new to brewing this time around after doing everything wrong the last couple of times I've tried over the years. Oxidation has been my worst enemy since restarting, but I...

It's also not far off my expected FG and has dropped very bright already.

    Sodastream for oxidation protection

I don't normally make hoppy beers, and this one was really hoppy when I put it in the fermenter, but the hop aroma and taste has almost disappeared after 5 days. I figure breweries drop the yeast and then dry hop so the yeast doesn't affect hop flavour, and moving to a secondary was my way of...

    Sodastream for oxidation protection

I'm planning to transfer a APA out of the primary into the secondary for dry hopping off the yeast, but I'm really wary of oxidisation having lost a few batches that way. Do you reckon I could use my Sodastream and some tubing to introduce CO2 into the bottom of the secondary before transfer to...

    Aging Coopers Beers

There was a 2016 Vintage keg on tap at the Petersham Bowlo a week or so ago and it was outstanding. Long malt flavours and super smooth.

    Coopers Stout – 23L

I normally use extra hops for a Coopers can so do a 10 min boil on those, and normally dissolve the dry malts in the water either before I add the hops or towards the end of the boil time. I also sometimes dissolve the can contents in there too after the boils done.
