    Thanks for your replies. I finally decided to replace all the lines, as I have also been experiencing mystery leaks which become very expensive when the CO2 bottle gets drained. Hopefully both problems solved now.

    thanks for your helpful replies. I used to drink Speckled Hen when I was living in England, and it was one of my go to brews, so I'll get some bottles for him. Sounds like home brewing isn't the way to go to get a low purine beer.

    Hi, I accidentally put my CO2 line onto the outlet, and as a result have beer in the CO2 line, which is doing a very good job as an airlock. Anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this, apart from replacing the line?

    My kegolator degasses itself

    it looks like it's the regulator. When you turn up the regulator tap, it releases the gas. I thought it was a good one - Kegland Mk4. Any suggestions for a good regulator?

    Thanks for your reply. Been busy doing other things, but will go through the steps you suggested. I'm going to try my grandchildren's bubble mixture to see if I can get better bubbles than detergent! Regards David
