ultratap or intertap? is there a difference?

Yeah I know mate! I. Just want a sensible discussion regarding taps but instead it degenerated into the same old nonsense. i was kidding about Perlicks off EBay ;)

ultratap or intertap? is there a difference?

I was interested in some more Intertaps ( why Intertap? Because I have the alternative spouts). So I looked on here and it’s the same old crap! yesterday I had seen similar stuff on FB but about a person I actually respect! Its tiresome! So now I’m looking at holding off buying anything to do...

    KegKing now at keg-king.com.au

I hope so mate! I find it all quite weird! i look at the stuff both companies produce and also stuff from SSBrewtech & Blichmann and I see similar products from both KK & KL. i also see very innovative products from both. I think it’s time for everyone to move on. as you may have guessed by now...

    KegKing now at keg-king.com.au

Wow! the old arguments are still going! i only bothered to even look here because I saw a reference to a new single vessel brewing system. but then it’s back to the old shit again :(

    Australian SS Conical Fermenters?

Almost anything small in stainless is made in China. I’m not sure why you would even bother looking for something that isn’t? I have two Guten Conicals and they are fine for what they are. when I looked at the Brewtech stuff and saw it was the same, I thought why bother? as for the Spike stuff -...

    Keg King S/Steel Uni tank

So no new news? I’m going to modify mine using the afore mentioned tri clover fittings. I do have two Fermenter King Juniors. sadly I screwed up the seal on one, so my experiments with them as fermenters hasn’t been great! But I will persevere! i am going to “cull“ my fermenter types and have...

Here is the final version of my 3 Vessel CP 36 litre Nano system. It is controlled by SmartPID and uses parts from various suppliers I also use a Digiboil converted into a single vessel system again powered by a SmartPID. Thx everyone!

    Anyone Using Brewfather?

On their FB site SmartPID have made public the wiring diagram for using a single SmartPID to control a 3 vessel system. I used this diagram after asking Davide about wiring two Smartpids together. Pretty cool if you want to use the automation in Brewfather! So for about $200 au you can control a...

Cheeky Peak SS Mesh Brew Basket

I use one in my 36 litre 3v system and it works fine! I recirculate through a RIMS. I have also used the mash tun with a 2200 watt heater (my vessels are the new tri clover ones) and it worked fine also In fact if CP were building these when I bought my GF I possible would have bought the CP...

    Anyone Using Brewfather?

It works very well - I have them on my 3 v system as well. I had similar problem to you and discovered that you have to manually adjust the parameters to stop it overshooting or not reaching temperature. I use that auto loading the recipe function all the time and it works great! Also I...

    Anyone Using Brewfather?

It works Fantastic! However people really need to read the instructions and it does need a bit of customising. But not the level of programming the other devices like Raspberry PI need cheers

    Best automated system

I liked your comments based on the conversations we have had (David) about those same of companies- I would say two sides? Also to see those emails means you must be a lot closer to a certain company than you are prepared to admit? Finally he did mention his employer will be selling theG70? Back...
