    RAPT Pill

Do you have to pay for the monthly subscription fee or do you get full control of the device set temp using the phone app?

    Heat belt melted

Yes I think this one in particular is really the best option: https://kegland.com.au/products/digital-heating-mat-with-power-control-25-watts This enables you to control the power percentage and also has integrated temp controller so for $29.95 it still not expensive at all in my opinion. It...

    RAPT Pill

If you have a single PRV I would ABSOLUTELY NOT use this as a spending device: DO NOT USE PRV AS SPUNDING VALVE The blog article explains why in a bit of detail.

    Heat belt melted

I would generally agree with you and the one in the original post is not ours. With that said I am not a massive fan of a very hot spot on the fermenter as I don't imaging this high watt density would be beneficial to the yeast either. Also If you just put the belt on the fermenter and the...

    RAPT Pill

20 or 30psi is no problem with the pill and you can definitely ferment at these pressures as the pill housing can handle more than 8 bar of pressure. With that said this amount of pressure is generally not a good idea as it's putting the yeast under unnecessary stress. 5-10psi is enough...

    Heat belt melted

I know these belts are cheaper as they use less materials but you are way better off going with a lower watt density for these types of things. We sell these too that are quite high watt density and sure the price is cheap but if you spend a bit more and get something like this you will be...

Aperol or Apritzo Spritz Recipe Using Cask Wine (From Aldi) (New Aperol Impressence Essence)

No benefit whatsoever. I guess you are probably going to be topping up the carbonation level a bit with CO2 anyway so you may as well just use the still water right from the beginning as it's cheaper.

JAPANESE BEERS - ANY RECIPES ?

This is a recipe that I would recommend. The flaked rice is the way to go for sure. If you are doing this type of recipe inside the 65L or 100L BZ and not filling the malt pipe more than half way you can also get away without using the rice hulls in my experience as the malt pipe ratio of...

How to brew the best alcoholic ginger beer!

Hey guys. We have spent a lot of time money and done a lot of research over the past 8 months in the subject of ginger beer and this is essentially what we have come up with: https://youtu.be/gajwFYzUEXo?si=qpycJFiV-vtcJfDq I would be interested to get your feedback on this kit here guys...

Aperol or Apritzo Spritz Recipe Using Cask Wine (From Aldi) (New Aperol Impressence Essence)

The name "Glampari" was a little to close to "Campari" so we now call this Red Italian Bitter but it's the same product inside the sachet. https://kegland.com.au/products/impressence-glampari-aperitif-bitter-spirit-flavouring We are out of stock as we have run out of raw materials. 2 of the...

Aperol or Apritzo Spritz Recipe Using Cask Wine (From Aldi) (New Aperol Impressence Essence)

Just out of interest have you tried using inexpensive cask wine? A lot of our customers have the ability to carbonate in the keg so I think it's not really worth the cost of purchasing actual prosecco as many of the inexpensive fruity dry white wines you can get in the cask are pretty similar...

    Kegland Reg

Yes it looks like you have the regulator set to below 12psi at the moment so I am guessing that's your issue. Can you send more photos of the whole setup including the kegs?

Is there any chance you can send us some photos or videos of the setup. It's way faster to problemshoot when we have more information.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Yes the K-lok fitting has no teeth. That is how that fitting is designed. Does the k-lok fitting work without the spring? It's extremly rare to have that particular combination. Normally we only sell the K-lok fittings to commercial venues who generally want to free pour things like full...

You should not need that seal and I would recommend removing it all together if you are using the Nukatap Taps. The only reason to use that seal is if you are using a tap that was not purchased from KegLand and the tap is not well designed. As you can see from this diagram here...
