    my beers only ever last ~6months max, but i'd recken that 18 months would be as much as you could need for almost any beer, though i'm sure other ppl can tell you more specific time periods ;)

    well, this is because bubbles only form in the cracks and abnormalities, when there is some detergent still in the glass - it fills the cracks and smooths things out a bit. if you could possibly get a glass perfectly smooth, and beer with no particles floating in it, there would be no bubbles at...

    perhaps if you get a much larger surface area'd filter it could still flow? or if you get a sieve (sp?) (you know, like a bowl-shaped strainer) upside down with your pipe stuck through the side of it (ie: -n) :blink:

    i think if you put chalk (opposite of gypsum?) into it that will harden the water, this causes the hops to die down... :unsure: i'm sure i read that somewhere... :rolleyes:

    One Of Those Brew Nights

    i've got about 12 ltrs brewing atm, 1 can of brewiser larger and about 3-400g of sugar/light malt... :blink: :ph34r: it says it has its own hops in the can, so hopefully that will be ok, cause it's double strength not enough available ingredients/bottles etc should be drinkable :rolleyes...
