Get into O2 guys, if you're serious about nicer beer

From memory, the only downside is how long the hyrdo sample takes to settle.

    What are you Brewing 2016?

It did stall but at 1.016. Gave it a little rouse and today 1.014 where it should have reached a week ago. Might just sneak this dark ale in before the old man arrives after all.

    What are you Brewing 2016?

My Old man and Bro are visiting mid October and I'm pretty stoked. I'll put down a version of their favorite commercial beers - White Rabbit Dark Ale and a Stone and Wood Pacific Ale. I'll try and keep the cleaning chemicals out of Pacific Ale.

+1 on supporting your local Butcher. They are slowly disappearing.

    POLL: Do you keg?

Endless hours of bottle washing... Done with it, so done. Since I started Kegging, I've always been disappointed with the results from bottling, malt flavor and hop forward beers. The early years bottling kit beers probably benefited from months of conditioning in the bottle.

Just a little blue smoke with Banksia pods for about 8 hours with Mallee Charcoal. I'm addicted to these short ribs.

    Smoking Meat...

I have 2 x Mash Master temp gauges and used this method to calibrate... Big mistake. When it was calibrated to boiling water it was way off at zero and vice versa when calibrated at zero, way off at boiling. Then when reading at mash temps both were up to 10c out. I've since calibrated them...

That listing has ended but this one is still active. It states that - printing may not be uniform or perfect, hence the low price.

    First time using hop flowers.

Yeah, I would but in a hop bag for flowers. I dont think there is a great difference in strength per weight but i think flowers taste better.

    Carabohemian Malt

I like where you're heading with this. Reckon that will go well.

    Carabohemian Malt

I used it in an APA, 5% instead of Caramunich and while it was fresh, I wasn't a fan at all. After it dropped bright, it really turned around, very nice beer. I see why you said Schwartzbier, I can taste that toffee in the background and its really grown on me.
