Huez, That is very interesting to me as a bottle conditioner only.. Which one was the higher scoring one? I guess unless your technique is flawless, there is likely to be more O2 damage to the one filled from the keg?

The CSIRO have isolated a gluten free barley, after years of breeding and isolating lower and lower gluten strains over and over, now the product is becoming very popular in Europe for making gluten free beer there. It van't be called that in Aus as it doesn't quite pass our more stringent 20ppm...

Hi Colbatt, I like the sound of this comp! A quick question, I notice you have 21A American IPA and 21B Specialty IPA Brown and 21B Specialty IPA Black. I happen to have a recently brewed IIPA (definitely too strong to fit the 21A category at nigh on 10%ABV) but probably not quite dark...

Seems the commercial Avery Maharaja is definitely on the Imperial or double IPA end of the scale, with OG ranging from 1088 to 1093 depending on the recipes. Recipes include between 700g and 1.1kg LDME, so if you left that out, you'd probably be back in IPA range according to the style...
