    Keg setup for sale

Just not drinking as much as I used to and rarely have anyone visit to share my brews with. Not worth the extra on the power bill for a keg to sit there for three plus months. That and I hope this can help fund my 5 speed conversion!

    Drying Hops

About to pick my first crop of hops but wondering how other people dry them? I was thinking of putting them on a flyscreen and keeping them in the shade as much as possible but how do I know when they are dry enough to seal in a glad bag and store? Any suggestions for any process after picking...

Gravity fed dripper is looking to be the...

Keeping Hops Alive When Not Home?

The other thing I forgot to mention is that they are in pots. I will look into the gravity fed dripper system, with saturaid and mulch. What about sitting the pots in a tray of water, that will rot them like over watering won't it?

Keeping Hops Alive When Not Home?

Great idea's, the sprinklers set to lowest possible may just work and luckily I have about 5 or 6 weeks to test it. There are eight plants though so will have to try and find the largest water container possible. Dr, looking forward to the fresh hops but as this is their first year in the...

Keeping Hops Alive When Not Home?

I've got all my hops at my parents place and they are heading to perth for four weeks. I might be able to get someone to drop in halfway through their trip but otherwise they are very much out of everyone's way, including me (300km round trip). Has anyone got any ideas how to keep them alive...

    How High-tech Is Your Brewery?

Well all this high tech stuff is making me look prehistoric. I have a $20 esky for a mash tun with braided hose for manifold. Heat sparge and mash water in 2 19 litre pots. Then split boil into two pots and no-chill in fermenter. Not high tech by any means but makes bloody delicious bears
