Equipment For Sale Andale 4 tap font

4 tap font with andale snaplok quick connects from a previous kegerator project. Its a flooded font which was converted to run without glycol, just a font fan. Hoping to recoup my costs. Asking $250 Pick up from Melbourne SE suburbs. I can send with a courier but it is heavy so would be expensive.

FS Fermentation fridge with controller [Syd]

I'm moving so my Fermentation fridge has to go this weekend. There is no freezer compartment so it uses little energy and can fit a 60L fermenter. Has an St 1000 box, heat belt and fan wired in. The only downside is the bottom part of the seal is partly loose. So I wouldn't use it for...

Pacific Ale - Dry Hop Alternative

You're lucky to have lots of Citra, sold out near me. I've had a lot of success emulating the iconic Aussie pale ale style differently when galaxy is unavailable. Very late addition of topaz Then dry hop with Vic secret. Good thing is both are easy to come by and cheaper than Citra.

    Mac's Green Beret IPA

I did the same over the summer It was a good session IPA and available everywhere because mega brewery. Much cheaper than tuatara double and imp IPAs too. Pretty sure the NZ hops varieties used were written on the label? Can't remember now though.

    Anyone kegged a ginger beer?

I love kegging but If you do want to bottle some and leave it I'd say it's worthwhile. I found some bottles of gb I'd made 12 months ago and the ginger flavour was definitely coming on stronger than the summer before. Nice and refreshing.

    2 Tap Jockey Box

My 2c: coils repurposed from a glycol chiller are the best of both worlds if you can find them floating around on Gumtree like I did: - holds a large volume because they are like 12mm diameter so pour as fast as you like and it'll always be cold - coils are flat and 2 fit perfectly in the...

    Tap Identification and bar advice

Handle is removed by counter-clockwise thumb power. Then unscrew the threaded rod and the rest of the hinge mechanism comes apart. May need to loosen the small nuts with an Allen key

    Tap Identification and bar advice

Sorry for the dp. Phone won't let me edit last post. That bar looks awesome and looks like your glycol lines are intact. Just looking at it and wondering how you would pull a chesty out to replace kegs if it was tethered through the lid with beer lines... Wondered if you'd considered leaving...

    Tap Identification and bar advice

I have done a very similar project to this with refurbished andale taps and lancer font. I got: - new seal kit from andale for each tap ($6ea from memory plus postage) - took the font apart and tried my hardest to undo the olive thing thats securing the grotty old beer line to the back of the...

    Fermenting Under Pressure

How does dry hopping fit into this system?

Kegmenter. Are they good to use?

Im wondering about this too. As I'd like a completely closed system with sanke kegmenter and then by 19l sanke serving kegs but the issue is where to dry hop. I can't get a hop bag into the serving kegs as there is no lid. And I'd rather not keg hop with loose pellets and then have floaties in...

    Hitting the wall

Really solid advice above. But if it's solidarity you're after: YES. I'm sure most of us have suffered from "why is all my beer shit" In addition to my first two small batches that were rubbish because I didn't control ferment temp, I've had a full 23L that I just hated the taste of, and two...
