Waiting to hear the outcome, as I've got 500grms of Topaz flowers in the freezer... The last two 50ltr brews had Topaz early and late with Home grown Cascade late. Session IPA and AUS PA have worked well with Topaz for me.

I've grown my hops in mini wheelie bins for the last two seasons, when they're done I chop them off and close the lids for winter. Last year they opened the lids with new growth by mid September and that was at 1500mtrs elevation in the snow!

I've just kegged 50ltrs of Topaz Ale with flowers I was given from the farm. I used Pils malt and a little med crystal and caraaroma, tonight is night of truth. Topaz @10, 1grm/ltr and Topaz @0, 2grm/ltr with a 15 whirlpool.

Harvested half of the cones on the Cascade plant I have in the Alpine Valley this week, it dried out to be 400grms which went into a harvest Ale yesterday. 110ltrs, 80% Pils, 20% Wheat, 200grms @ 20, 200grms @ 5 and Nott 18deg.

Loxeal is the liquid sealant I use for Plumbing. I must admit I haven't read the MSDS but don't believe it would cause any problems. Small bead to both male and female thread, assemble and lightly nip up, bingo.

When I bought my 21ltr it was next to the 23ltr, which was the same height just a little fatter. They do state recommended carbonation range 35/40psi, which is what I force carb at, the pressure relief has not acted at this pressure.

I bought a 21 ltr version 18mths ago from CP and apart from the dip tube o-ring not sealing first up it has been problem free. They are slightly taller than the Corny's too. I will say that the metal base could do with a rubber coating or similar. My fix was a neat bead of roof and gutter...

I've just tapped my first lager (faux lager) and went with the filter to have it as clear as possible. Normally with ales I cold condition for a week after fermenting is done and transfer to keg and leave for another week, if possible, after a force carb.
