Interesting, I got a blue cheese aroma off one of the specialties. It was pungent initially and fleeting too. I can't recall exactly, but I think the beer had Brett in it and I thought that had caused it.

A very interesting question and one I have pondered myself. The information I have gleaned from the net does not give equivocal answers. Guidance suggests the ABV and malt/hop composition be your guide. High alcohol = age for 6+ months Hoppy = drink immediately Dark malts = better aging...

My heat belt broke this week due to a near disastrous event. I have been keeping temperatures up by using an oil heater for the past couple of days. Does anyone within 10km of Kotara have a heat belt or pad that I can borrow for a week?
