    Melbourne Microbreweries Showcase At Fed Square

    Last time I went, I got there nice and early. There was barely anyone around, and the brewers were more than generous with their time and their pours (nearly filling up my tasting glass). $20 for 20 pours turned out to be great value. If my memory serves me correctly, Matilda Bay was very generous.

    Ales Or Lagers?, Which Do You Prefer?

    Ales... Certainly based on what I buy and brew. Being a newby I have found the ales more forgiving - temp-wise. Just like Stuster, I've got my first lager on the go at 12c out in the shed. I would love to have my mind changed... but I think I might have blown it after I left the heater belt...

    New Creatures Brew

    I picked up six from Swords at the Vic Market last week... Thrilled on two counts: 1) it's sufficently different from LCPA and Rodgers 2) Little World Breweries' share price has gone up five cents since the release (still should have bought BHP, though)... I will drink a lot of it this...
