    The problem with what you want to do is that you want the wort to be above 90 going into the drum to sterilise it.     Good work mate. I've been a BIABER for 2 year now and love it. One piece of advice on your Friday night brew with a mate is to try and take it easy on the brew. Being new to biab and drunk is not so good. Easy to forget things. But have fun

    So I have done about 20 BIABs. Most of them have been great. I brewed a Kolsch recently and it turned out very dry. Anyway after talking to my local HBS I think it may be my thermometer letting me down. Just wondering what everyone uses. I have heard thermapens are very good. But big $.Cheers
