What is the quality of these like? My second Wiltronics "economy borosilicate" just shattered after pouring boiling water into it and I'd like to replace it with something better. Does the extra price places like Craft Brewer charge get you anything better?

I would be very interested if you find any of these locally. What if you were to wrap a thick piece of wire around the neck of a growler, with a couple of loops for the swing top lid to hook into. I have a couple of screw top growler bottles I'd try this on but the only swing tops I can find...
