I was speaking to a mate today, who has a mate who swears by adding Sprite 1L or so into the brew after a week... can;t be lemonade has to be sprite... any ideas why and what it would do?

Okay, Is there any risk of contamination when you leave the tap of on the keg? I have a simple set up two kegs in a fridge and 1 beer line on a cheap plastic tap. I Leave the tap and beer line on one keg always... Any risks???

Comon Lads, wanted Hops will trade empty pet bottles, maybe even chuck in a corona brew too if you like. Let us know peoples preferably free though :) :beerbang:

I have heard, if you leave the yeast in you leave the B Vitamins etc, however if the beer is filtered this is taken out, What about if you cold condition, are there still the above vitamins etc, or do they drop to the bottom, I would like to think my beer still retains some goodness... Cheers!

Okay, so I put down a European Lager (coopers) the other day, I put some hops into water and boiled it for about 15 minutes, and then just poured it into the wort...sitting in the fermentor. No mixing of the two just boiled it in water and then added it in. What should I expect? I was going for...
