I was speaking to a mate today, who has a mate who swears by adding Sprite 1L or so into the brew after a week... can;t be lemonade has to be sprite... any ideas why and what it would do?

Okay, Is there any risk of contamination when you leave the tap of on the keg? I have a simple set up two kegs in a fridge and 1 beer line on a cheap plastic tap. I Leave the tap and beer line on one keg always... Any risks???

So coz I dun have 3 fridges (1 for food / 1 for beer) I took the original brew out of the fridge and put it back in, so it has gone through temp changes, and now there seems to be too much pressure in the keg, and it comes out all frothy, I could release the pressure, so no big deal. how ever...

My diet is good, I just want my beer to be good as well.

I have heard, if you leave the yeast in you leave the B Vitamins etc, however if the beer is filtered this is taken out, What about if you cold condition, are there still the above vitamins etc, or do they drop to the bottom, I would like to think my beer still retains some goodness... Cheers!

Ah yeah, I am not particularly worried, just interested in the way that I added the hops. Yeh I got it from Craft Brewer? over at capalaba 8 bucks for 90gm... seems expensive but yeh, not hop tea bags.

stinks likes XXXX but very strong, almost off, but I am sure its not off, as I know how hops can smell. Yeah I am thinking it will be a nice brew, any suggestions of my method? Just pouring in a hop tea into the wort style?

Its Saaz, I don't think the way I did it was the "normal" way, however I was not gonna boil everything and cool it down, no time for that. I think it was about 20gram, not much I know, but I was gonna dry hop the other 20grams later on. It certainly stinks, you can really smell it!
