Went and bought this kit I've only ever brewed Coopers I'm interested to see what my fellow hombrewers have done with this kit and if so would appreciate some feedback as to how to proceed further .

Sounds pretty good to me , put my first stout down yesterday which was basically the same as your first attempt I have no idea how it will turn out though , but I think you wont go to far wrong with your new batch good luck ..

agree with BribieG every bit of advice he has offered to me has been invaluable , he knows , if I were you I would go back to basics sanatization etc . Do a couple of coopers kits just the basic deal and see how they turn out . Even my fist couple of brews I put down , and were worried about...

thanks for that info BribieG didnt do anything any differently than previous attempts so beats the s#$t out of me ,probably be a good drop with a bit of luck , only thing that I can think that I did differently was I didnt turn the heat pad on untill I got the temp down to around 16 degrees '...

just the normal yeast that come in the coopers dark ale kit , tried to keep the temp low when i put this btch down arond 22 degrees , and its been pretty steady so it may be that BE2 , I've been out of the house most of today and the krausen is still going through the airlock . two days straight.

put down a coopers dark ale with coopers BE2 in my 30 litre fermenter anyway filled the fermenter to the 23 litre mark anyway got up this morning 2 days later and the krausen has shot through the airlock pissed out onto the lid and gone everywhere basically. my last coopers dark ale I did before...
