    For The Lazy/new/potential Ag Brewer

Sorry, but I am a newbie to AG (so new, not done one yet, but virtually ready to go!) but what is the view on the water hardness and how it can affect your brew? I thought it would depend on what you are brewing or where you are (and thus adjust your brew to suit as per uk). There's so much for...

    How Long Is Too Long?

Hear, hear! Some people enjoy a drink frequently, some don't. Some binge on Vodka, Bourbon or whatever may take their fancy, but it doesn't make them wrong (though if not brewing the odd beer or interested, perhaps unsuitable visitors to this site?). Come one, come all, but don't impede my...

    Real "flat" Ale?

Great link! That will help loads, thanks. I think for the small amount of priming I'd need to do it might be worth racking? Only trouble is with the summer temps in Perth I'll only be able to do one brew at a time with the other racking in the fridge. Will give it a go. Thanks again. P.S I...

    Real "flat" Ale?

Hi all, I'm new to this brewing business (still on K&K at mo and only 8 brews in) and am trying to work out how to get that non-carbonated taste as if straight from the barrel (for those who have tried it, i.e. Bass where the flatter, the better!). So far I've been mixing it up considerably at...
