    Grain father v robobrew

Recirc while chilling. Clear wort sample from fermentor after pitching yeast.

    Grain father v robobrew

After considering a GF I bought a RoboBrew with pump a couple of weeks ago due to the sheer value. IMHO it's a better buy due to the 2400W total element wattage (stronger boil) and extra tap at the base for draining. It does come with some niggles however and something I worked out by doing a...

Keg King ROBOBREW 35L SINGLE VESSEL BREWERY

Perhaps mash as big as you can and goose up with a portion of extract/sugar. People may turn their nose up at the idea but it's endorsed by people like Jamil Zainasheff and Tasty McDole. On a big 1.080+ beer you're not going to notice a 10% addition of extract.

mangrove jack brew pouch experience ?

Currently on a brewing hiatus. Visited a work colleague last night who has been brewing kits forever. He's moved onto the MJ Craft pouches and I have to say the product was fantastic. Much closer to a full extract or partial flavour with zero kit twang. They might cost a little more than a...

    Belgian Dark Strong Ale

Provided there's no obvious off aromas or flavours bottle now. In my own experience the longer you keep Belgian yeast in a high alcohol environment before you get it to do it's second job of carbonating the worse off you'll be. I left my last Belg Dark Strong in the fermentor for 3 weeks and...
