    Gluten Free Kit Brewing

I'm a coeliac, and have really really missed beer since being diagnosed. I've not tried any of the kits, I've done my GF brewing with Sorghum extract doing my own hop additions. I've had mixed success, first try, a lager, I used way too much Super Pride hops, and it came out INCREDIBLY bitter...

Selling Everything - Kegs, Taps, All Grain Equip, Etc.

Hey, did I manage to get the immersion chiller in the end? I did send a PM. And I'd still like a boiler. Cheers

    What Are You Brewing III

I think it's Hersbrucker grown in Tassie. I'm led to beleive that it's the hops used in Cascade premium lager, which was my favorite beer before I got diagnosed coeliac.

    Digital Thermostats

Got one of these coming, should be here early next week. Then I'll need to find a chest freezer to stick it in! (If anyone knows of a cheap one in Canberra, let me know!) SWMBOs will be most pleased when the fermenters are out of the spare bathroom :)

    Simplest Cider

Add some more to the total :) 23L of Apfelwein. 23L Aldi apple juice, 1Kg Dextrose, champagne yeast from brew your own at home. My OG was 1092. It's been bubbling vigorously for a week at about 22C, I'm yet to invest in a fermenting fridge, but with the heat this summer, and how cold I know my...

    Introduce Yourself.

Ah cool, O'Briens is the only readily available commercial GF beer around Canberra. I really like the Premium Lager, but it's hard to come at $70 for 24 * 330mL, so it's a once a year at christmas type thing for me. Not only is HomeBrewing cheaper, it's much more fun :) I think I've read just...

    Introduce Yourself.

Hi all! I'm another Canberra brewer. Started looking into home brew middle of last year, finally got some bits together in December! I suffer from Celiac disease, so I'm attempting some gluten free homebrew. My first attempt, a lager, is 2 weeks in the bottle, and my second, a go at a darker...
