hi guys just wanting to ask a question. i had started a brew about 5-6 week maybe even a week more and couldn't be assed to bottle it. just wondering would the brew go off since it's been so long or will it just mature with age? as i have just bottled it tonight. Thanks,

This is the 2nd time i have made this recipe and the last time it also got down to 1000 and it tasted fine but this time it has too much gas for some reason.

Hi everyone. I have a small problem, maybe someone can give me a tip or two. Two weeks ago i just bottled my brew after it was reading 1000 for a period of 3 days. Sat my bottles in the garage (not knowing what temp it has been ) and patiently waited for them to finish the 2nd fermentation...

just wondering whats peoples thoughts on cleaning them out, how would you go about on doing it? Also do i need to go and buy new caps with seals on them if i wanna reuse the bottles as i'm about to start my 2nd brew. Cheers,

also how does the mixture get that fizzyness ? sounds like a stupid question is that what the carbanation drops are for?

Sweet thanks for the heads up guys, i'll do a few more readings and maybe bottle it in about 5 to 6 days. Will it be a good idea to take the lid off and do readings that way or just keep gettin samples ?

Ok so i have pitched another yeast and give the drum alittle shake around now it's been 4 days since i put the yeast in and it's givin me a reading of 1012. Where shall i go from here ?

just done another hydro test and it's still 1020. do i still wait or bottle it, slap it down with experience and try another batch?
