    Which Yeast For 25c

I'v been fermenting in the laundry sink/cheap coles tub, and using frozen 2L bottles. Even the last few days here on the Sunshine coast ~30c, my brew has only needed 1 bottle in the morning and one in the afernoon and it hasnt peaked above 20, if anything it might be too cold, getting below 18...

Move To All Grain For Thirty Bucks

I just put down my first mini BIAB this afternoon. I used a recipe similar to that described in this thread and made it up to 10 litres. I dont think I made any big mistakes, im sure there are plenty of places I could improve, but im not too worried about it at this stage, just getting a feel...

Move To All Grain For Thirty Bucks

When finished fermenting, and racked, and just leaving it for a while for the yeast to clean up after itself, does it matter what the temp is (within reason of course), or is it still best to keep it at ~18 degrees? mike

Ratebeers - 50 Worst Beers Of The World

haha # 2 Black Label used to be our regular back growing up in Zimbabwe when we couldn't afford Castle or Bohlingers! Didn't taste too bad to our young and very naive palates! Im happy to say that my palate has changed and is being re-educated to the tastes of craft brewing. Mike

    .02 Bac Proposal

I agree with CM2. I often have one of two beers and am well under the 0.05 and drive home. Those that breach the law should be dealt with, not the rest of us. If they are going to drink and drive, they are going to do it whatever the legal limit is, so lowering it to 0.02 will just hurt the...
