yes this is bloody great news. 4 pines must not be too happy this morning. Although they are making different beers. Murray's are doing FBB's & 4 Pines are making friendlier beers like Kolsch, Hefe, & Pale. Anyway, i'll now be taking the opportunity to bump into both ;)

I had high expectations after Red Angus Pilsner was so good. It's a worry when your Pilsner is hoppier than your Pale....

I went to the first brewers market there & loved the paddys beers. It just seems to be out of place there at the markets, where i just envision Tooheys New drinking fork lift drivers emptying kegs & the craft stuff going to waste. Maybe Gerard can move the pub to Chatswood :)

have been buying this beer a lot the last few months....part of my x'mas day beers & this evening part of my new years beers ;) $55 a case at Dans. Got a couple of cases from Vintage Cellars a few months ago & they were $70!

I got a 6er tonight & it's tasting pretty damn good to me! Plenty of hop aroma, flavor & bitterness. With nice malt backbone. Comparing it with half a dozen other OZ pale ales I've had recently it still has there #! have a mt kiziosko, Williams, st aroma, fat yak, vale ale etc = very average...

After watching ep3 last night I decided to try some Tamarillos on the BBQ tonight! Now I can see how they found the beer so bitter in the pre fermenting tasting. I wasn't really a fan. I normally like bold flavors. I'll probably end up being a fan down the track!

Crows nest hotel has it on tap! It's not offensive BUT nothing at all special about it. I don't understand all of these bland pales ales being released? I mean LCPA has been around 10 years now & is the standard - so why go backwards? Seems most of the OZ craft beer industry is going backwards...

Yeah, I've noticed after a night on the white rabbit dark ales I have felt a bit rougher than usual. I only notice because I don't generally experience many problems at after a good session :) Nowhere near enough to deter me from drinking white rabbit though ;)

Yeah i went there about 18 months ago - they only had 2 cezch beers on tap then - lager + dark lager. They had hoegarrdan on tap & rest was bottled stuff. Had a good feed too!

Yeah only been there a couple of weeks. They also have redoak pa on the public bar too. But both lcpa & redoak pa had been replaced with a couple of German lager during October.
